About SCYPA

The Simcoe County Young Professionals Association (SCYPA) is a group of professionals in the early years of their careers. Our members live in all parts of Simcoe County, from Bradford to Midland and from Orillia to Collingwood, with a large portion of our membership residing in Barrie.

SCYPA was formed to address the lack of opportunities specifically for people starting a new career or business to network with each other and support and promote each others’ businesses. We run monthly social and business networking events that allow our members to meet and connect with other young professionals, as well as maintain a directory of young professionals in Simcoe County. Our organization is built around the following four pillars: community involvement, professional development, business networking and social events.
