Cesia Green, Chair

Cesia returned to Barrie after completing her law degree to practice in her hometown. She is a partner at Wall-Armstrong & Green, a boutique law firm that specializes in the areas of real estate and estates. She believes very strongly in giving back to the community, which she does through volunteer work with several organizations in Barrie and the surrounding area. She can also be found on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook, and blogs regularly.

Tim Walker, Vice-Chair

Tim is an entrepreneur and has helped launched several businesses over the past decade.  He currently runs a web development company, which owns and operates sites like PhotographyCorner.com, and has recently taken on a mortgage agent role with Real Mortgage Associates. Tim can also be found on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, where his love for all things tech, sports and social media converge.

Stephanie Adams, Events Coordinator

Stephanie is a Sales Representative with the Barrie Condo Team at Hassey Realty Corporation in Barrie, with a real estate focus on Barrie condo and townhome sales.

Kathy Chen, Treasurer

 Xiaoqiao (Kathy) Chen is a Bookkeeper at Barriston LLP, a law firm in Barrie. She is an international student from the People’s Republic of China who came to Canada in January 2007, and has been living in Barrie ever since. From September 2007 to May 2011, Kathy studied at Laurentian University earning her B.B.A. degree in accounting. She is an active volunteer with the Ontario Early Years Centre and with the Rotaract Club of Barrie, where she is the acting treasurer. Along with her work at Barriston LLP, Kathy is currently studying towards obtaining her CMA designation.

Drew Dekker, Information Systems Coordinator

Drew is the founder, V.P. and C.O.O. of NetGain SEO, a web development company in Barrie. In addition to his SCYPA involvement, Drew sits on Georgian College’s Web Animation and Graphic Arts program’s advisory board, and is a proud member of the Barrie Chamber of Commerce, Business Networking International, CFIB, National Association of Information Destruction and PRISM International. Drew is also an active member of The Barrie Huronia Rotary Club and a regular contributor and supporter of community involvement and charity organizations in Barrie and the surrounding area.

Mike Hardwicke Brown, Director of Sponsorship

Mike completed his degree in Communications at the University of Ottawa, following which he returned to Barrie where he manages and develops internet advertising sales throughout North America and the UK with CityDirect.info. During the winter weekends he enjoys coaching downhill racing at Snow Valley.

Andrew Lorriman, Director of Marketing

Andrew is a Wealth Management Consultant with Turner Lorriman Wealth Management Group at Wellington West Capital in Barrie.  His work focuses on the creation and implementation of wealth management plans for local business owners, entrepreneurs and professionals.  He has a special interest in charitable giving and is actively involved in Club Red with Gilda’s Club Simcoe Muskoka.  Andrew holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Marcelo Millar, Director of Membership

Marcelo is a financial advisor at Investors Group in Barrie. He has developed a special interest in risk management, estate planning and the proper use of insurance products to assist in both areas. Marcelo also enjoys golf, boating and spending time with his family and friends, and is actively involved with “Ashley’s Angels,” a local charity organization.

Kristian Robillard, Secretary

Kristian is an advisor with Sun Life Financial in Barrie.  He graduated from the University of Guelph in 2003 and then spent a year in Sydney, Australia before returning to his hometown of Barrie to get established.

Kristian is a proud husband and father and enjoys just about any outdoor activity.  He works very closely with families, professionals and businesses to protect their wealth and provide income in retirement and throughout various transitions in life. This is achieved by analyzing a client’s situation and by making recommendations based on their stated objectives.
