Kevin Joseph, Chair

Kevin’s hometown is Barrie, Ontario. He is a mortgage broker and partner with Anthem Mortgage Group, an established and well respected brokerage for over 20 Years in Simcoe County. Kevin attended Georgian College for business and HR studies, and then the University of Lethbridge, Alberta for his business degree. He also studied European Business in the Netherlands and France. He loves what he does and is passionate about his business practice and community. Kevin has served on several boards in the past and has also been involved with the following charitable organizations: The Alberta Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association, and Gilda’s Club to name a few. Kevin enjoys golfing, travelling and surfing in his free time.  Kevin can also be found on Facebook, Linkedin, and Twitter.

Graydon Ebert, Vice President

Graydon is a lawyer with Ain Whitehead LLP in Barrie, where he practices business and real estate law. After graduating from the University of Western Ontario law school and articling at a national law firm in Ottawa, Graydon was called to the bar in 2011 and moved to Barrie shortly thereafter to begin his legal career. Graydon provides advice to businesses in Simcoe County of all sizes and to all stakeholders in a variety of real estate transactions.

Graydon is a big sports fan and plays softball, curling and golf. He enjoys networking and meeting new members of the Simcoe County business and professional community.

Kristian Robillard, Treasurer

Kristian is an advisor with Sun Life Financial in Barrie. He graduated from the University of Guelph in 2003 and then spent a year in Sydney, Australia before returning to his hometown of Barrie to get established.

Kristian is a proud husband and father and enjoys just about any outdoor activity. He works very closely with families, professionals and businesses to protect their wealth and provide income in retirement and throughout various transitions in life. This is achieved by analyzing a client’s situation and by making recommendations based on their stated objectives.

Tom Wolfenden, Treasurer

Tom is the accountant at SAE Inc., a manufacturing company in Barrie, and he also teaches part-time at Georgian College. His career began at BDO where he led many audits that focused on municipalities, healthcare and not-for-profit organizations. In 2016, Tom obtained his CPA and CA designations.

Tom is a huge sports fan and enjoys playing hockey, softball and golf.

Ryan Tomlinson, Director of Marketing

Ryan Tomlinson settled in Barrie after graduating from Georgian College with a Marketing and Web Design degree. Ryan now owns Gooder Marketing, an internet marketing agency that offers customized web development and SEO services to small business in and around Barrie. Ryan is a foodie and HUGE sports fan, those topics are always great conversation starters!

Crystal Barnard, Events Co-ordinator

Crystal has over 10 years of experience providing assurance, taxation and consulting services to not-for-profit and owner-managed businesses. She works closely with her clients to understand their needs and identify value added services, including efficiencies and improvements within the organization and ensuring compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. Her industry expertise includes work with various community associations, charitable organizations, not-for-profit healthcare service providers, and construction and aggregate companies. Crystal is an active member of the community and leads various fundraising events.

Christopher Shultz, Secretary

Christopher Shultz is a practicing lawyer with HGR Graham Partners LLP in Barrie. Christopher’s practice is focused on corporate and commercial transactions for all manner of businesses and professionals. Born and raised in Barrie, Christopher attended the University of Toronto (Trinity) for International Relations and the University of Exeter for Law. Prior to practicing law, Christopher worked as an institutional portfolio manager for a large international bank.

Outside of business, Christopher loves to run and ski, and has successfully summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

Scott McEachern, Membership

Scott is a self-employed financial advisor who specializes in working with young families create a successful financial future. He loves helping families make smart choices about money, ensure they have the right insurance, and help them achieve their financial goals. Scott is currently studying to complete his CFP designation. He currently volunteers with the Canadian Cancer Society and enjoys playing soccer and board games in his spare time.

Sarah Hahn, Past Chair

Sarah is originally from North Bay and moved to Barrie in 2006. She is an associate lawyer with HGR Graham Partners LLP where she practices civil litigation with a focus on municipal and development law. Sarah also sits on the Board of Directors for the Young Professionals Network of Ontario.
